Modern Warrior Shines at Vancouver Cup 2025

We are incredibly proud to celebrate our dojo’s participation in the Vancouver Cup 2025 Karate Kata Championships, held on Sunday, October 5 at the Killarney Community Centre.

This highly anticipated event, hosted by Vancouver Seiyu Karate, brought together martial artists from across the region in a vibrant celebration of skill, spirit, and tradition. Our Modern Warrior students took to the mat with discipline and heart — showcasing kata in both competitive and new non-competitive showcase divisions.

Whether it was a child performing Taikyoku 1 for the first time, or an experienced adult demonstrating Seienchin with razor-sharp technique, we witnessed remarkable growth, courage, and sportsmanship. Every Modern Warrior participant represented our dojo with honor and excellence.
