Meet the vehicle

The van carries the Modern Warrior name on the doors and a clear line about after-school pickup and martial arts. The website is on the wrap as well, so a parent at the curb can see who has arrived and where the afternoon goes. The photos here show the vehicle parked, and the passenger area with the seats empty. This is a look at the van we use for the program, not a school run in progress.

From school pickup to an afternoon at the dojo

Pickup is one part of the after-school martial arts program in New Westminster. On school days we collect a child from a participating school and bring them to the dojo at 314 6th Street. Before class there is supervised homework and time to play with the other kids. Training runs Monday to Friday, 4:30 to 5:20 PM, for ages 5 to 11. The classes are karate, jiu-jitsu, and wrestling.

After class, you collect your child at the dojo. The vehicle covers the trip from school. Homework, play, and training happen at 314 6th Street.

School pickup depends on demand. Ask us to confirm your child's school and whether a place is open. We confirm each school directly.
