Chief Trainer Sasha Tadayoni: Representing Canada at Kunlun Fight

Our Chief Trainer has been invited to step into the Kunlun Fight cage for Canada — a match set by Kunlun leadership, and a moment that shows exactly what he brings to the mats at Modern Warrior Academy in New Westminster.

Almost Time: Canada on the Kunlun Card

Chief Trainer Sasha Tadayoni — known online as thelionofpersia — has been invited to represent Canada with the Kunlun Fight Team. The invitation came from Kunlun’s vice president and leader, and the bout is billed as Sasha vs An Ran under the KLF banner.

This is not a social-media highlight reel. It is a professional kickboxing match on one of Asia’s major combat-sports stages — and it is the same coach who teaches on our New Westminster floor every week.

Almost time. Honoured to be representing Canada and being invited to this match by Kunlun. I am coming to win and showcase what growth I have made. Thank you to everyone who continues to believe in me. Osu. Sasha Tadayoni

Why this matters for students: the person correcting your guard, your stance, and your mindset on the mats is still testing himself at the highest level. That standard does not stay in the cage — it walks into class with him.

Who Is Chief Trainer Sasha Tadayoni?

Philosophy

Martial arts as a lifelong journey: sacrifice, courage, perseverance, and becoming stronger on and off the mats.

What Fight Prep Means for the Dojo

When a coach prepares for a match like Kunlun Fight, students see the real process up close: early mornings, sharp pad work, honest sparring, recovery, and the mental side of showing up when it counts.

That energy feeds the academy. Beginners still get patience and step-by-step teaching. Regulars get pushed a little harder. Everyone gets a coach who refuses to ask for more than he is willing to give himself.

Train With the Same Coach Who Steps Into the Cage

At Modern Warrior, high-level experience is not locked behind a private VIP lane. Sasha coaches on the floor — correcting, encouraging, and holding students to a respectful standard.

If you are looking for a martial arts instructor or kickboxing coach in New Westminster who still competes, that is the difference you will feel in your first class: real coaching, real care, and no intimidation games.

  • Clear technique teaching — not just a workout playlist
  • Beginner-friendly classes with room to grow into competition-minded training
  • A dojo culture built on respect, discipline, and community
  • Multiple pathways: kickboxing, karate, Muay Thai, boxing, jiu-jitsu, and more

No experience needed. Book a free intro class, meet the coaches, and see whether Modern Warrior feels like home. We will guide you from the first step.
